My Review 

Cassidy is trying to remember who her last kiss was with. She is dead but she doesn't know how she got that way. Everyone seems to think she killed herself. She is falling everyone around trying to figure out just what happened. No one but her boyfriend can see her. Her best friend is trying to figure things out as well. Cassidy knows she must have done something bad but she doesn't remember much. Slowly as the clues begin to show their selves she starts to remember everything that led up to that night. She needs to hurry and figure things out as someone doesn't like her best friend searching for answers.

Cassidy is dead but she is still trying to make up for her past as she remembers it. She is a good person who made mistakes as some young people do. She has to come to terms with all that happened in her short life. Her family was falling apart before now she has an outside view of what happens after her death. She wishes she could be there to help them and get them to move on. Her boyfriend Ethan is a wonderful guy. He tries his best to help her but doesn't push her memories on her. He is a very loyal guy for someone his age. 

I liked this story as you get to see what all happened to lead up to her death in flashbacks as well as what happens after. All the characters have some part to add to what happened to her and it all leads up to that horrible night. Cassidy sees who was really there for her and who she shouldn't have trusted. I liked it as I was never sure till the end what had happened that night. I had a few guesses. This is a great book and I really enjoyed it.

My Review 

Gabby is hiding out and has a secret. She is a waitress at a night club and while her life is far from normal she thinks she is safe. A new bodyguard has her wanting more. Sean isn't your typical bodyguard he is really part of a secret organization and his job is to seduce Gabby and to keep her safe. Someone else is after them and they have to learn to open up to each other if they are going to live.

This is a short story but a good one. Gabby has really been on her own for a long time. She can break into computers or phones and they download into her brain. She has hid this from everyone. She isn't the type to fall for anyone as she can usually find their secrets out pretty quickly. Sean is dark and moody. He can control shadows. They both are great characters separate but when they work together they are amazing. They are in danger and they have to use their talents to stay safe. They aren't sure who to trust and while on the run really fall for each other. You don't realize it's a short story really as the whole thing gets told in the pages and it feels like a full length book. If you want a great short story that is amazing try this one.

My Review 

Selkie thinks she is just a normal girl. Her family may be a little odd but a lot of peoples are. She is raised by her aunts because her dad is in an institution and her mom ran off when she was a baby. What she soon finds out is she is far from normal. When she finds out she has been hid from her mom and others she soon realizes she should have stayed hid. She is part faerie on her mom's side and part ogre from her dad's side. Her mom and other fae are after her because of a prophecy. She must stay away from them or they will kill her. Selkie can't do that as Ben has been taken. Now she will do anything to get him back. She has to meet her mother and see who she can trust. It is a dangerous journey she is taking.

Selkie has been protected her whole life by many people. Ben has kept her hid even when she didn't know it. They all think she shouldn't know about any of the things for her own good but she isn't a weak person. She shows how strong she is when she takes on a dangerous journey to save Ben even when everyone tells her she shouldn't. She doesn't back down and tries her best to save him and others who need it.

If you love books with Faeries in them I am sure you will enjoy this one. Selkie is a great character and I loved getting to know what she was exactly. I would have liked to se more of the ogre part but I am strange like tat I guess lol. Her mom is one crazy person and a queen. She is ruthless and doesn't take a slight from anyone. The Fae court is very dangerous and the author does a great job with describing it. I also enjoyed the different time lines you get to see. I was something I had not seen in a book with Fae. I love Ben and how much he struggles to keep Selkie safe. I look forward to seeing more in this series.
