Of Blood and Pulse- A. Jacob Sweeny YA

Of Blood And Pulse picks up the story right where Pulse Of Heroes left off...

After a rocky start, Michelle and Elliot's relationship seems to be teetering on nothing but a few fraying strings, despite the great love that they both feel for one another.

Haunted and scarred by the events of the past year, they both suffer from traumatic consequences. To complicate things even further, someone who knows far too much about Elliot shows up unexpectedly, bringing revelations that even Elliot as a 4700 year-old immortal has a hard time grasping. This visitor’s mere presence adds yet another strain to the couple’s already fragile relationship.

However before Michelle and Elliot can remedy and mend their love, they must heal themselves, and that task will not be as easy, or as safe, as it seems. Join Michelle and Elliot on an epic life-and-death adventure that will take them to the four corners of the world in search of the key to their survival.

                                                         My Review:
Amazing! Page turner I could not put it down. I found myself laughing and crying. I did not want this amazing ride to end. I can not wait for book 3 to see where Elliot and Michelle's journey takes them next. 5/5 stars. ~Sabrina

Halfway To the Grave - Jeaniene Frost

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father – the one responsible for ruining her mother’s life. Then she’s captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership.
In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She’s amazed she doesn’t end up as his dinner – are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn’t have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side … and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

Stray-Rachel Vincent

I look like an all-American grad student. But I am a werecat, a shape-shifter, and I live in two worlds.
Despite reservations from my family and my Pride, I escaped the pressure to continue my species and carved out a normal life for myself. Until the night a Stray attacked.
This brush with danger was all my Pride needed to summon me back... for my own protection. Yeah, right. But I'm no meek kitty. I'll take on whatever and whoever--I have to in order to find my friends. Watch out, Strays--'cause I got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them...

Review-

Evernight-Claudia Gray

Bianca has just left the small town where she's spent her whole life. She's a new student at Evernight Academy, a creepily Gothic boarding school where her classmates are somehow too perfect: smart, sleek and almost predatory. Bianca knows she doesn't fit in.

Then she meets Lucas, another loner, who seems fiercely determined not to be the "Evernight type." There's a connection between Bianca and Lucas that can't be denied. She would risk anything to be with him—but dark secrets are fated to tear them apart... and to make Bianca question everything she's ever believed to be true.

Review-
This Book Surprised me!Before this book was over I knew I had to have more! You become Bianca! You feel yourself drawn into this world! 4Stars

The Vampire of Meadow Lake by Jason M Petty

Jenny and Amy were like gasoline and open flame; they had great chemistry. A passing joke or remark would spark a devious brain storm, spurring an adventure. As often as not these adventures culminated in a police escort home. They were inseparable and unstoppable.
News of Amy's murder rocked the town and broke Jenny's heart. Six months later her depression is wearing on her boyfriend, John. He's at wits end. Instead of getting better, Jenny is getting worse. She's moodier, angrier and as often as not, drunker than ever.
As their lives and relationship spiral out of control, an ominous feeling begins to creep into the corners of the town. Strange cars are showing up at late hours. New shadows skulk in the old alleys. Late at night when the lights are dim Jenny can feel strange eyes watching her. Even still, her greatest fear is that she'll never get a chance to face the killer. John's greatest fear is what could happen if she does.
