Inhale by Kendall Grey

Here is a book I quickly fell in love with. I slowly read it just so I could savor it. Yeah that might sound weird but it’s amazing. I fell in love with the characters, the plot and the hotness. Yes I said hotness. The love scenes really wowed me in a good way. Kendall Grey wrote them in a way that fit perfectly with the story. As your reading you can't help think if its this hot while they are dreaming you know it's going to be sizzling if they ever meet.

Now as for the characters Zoe is a whale biologist who thinks she is going crazy cause she thinks she hears the whales speaking to her. Not to mention she keeps having dreams she is fightingElementals with Perfect. That is what she calls her dream guy and they do more than fight evil ones. Perfect is actually a real guy name Gavin (OMG Yummy) is a rock star and he is sent to protect Zoe in her dreams from the Fyre Elementals. He has a tragic past he doesn't want to repeat. When they come together whether fighting or loving the action is phenomenal.

I have to mention one other character. Scarlett is the evil one but you can't help being drawn to her justto see what she does next. Sometimes I caught myself thinking when is she coming back in the story.

I really enjoyed this books paranormal aspect. They are different from what you’re used to and really suit the story. Also I loved all the whale scenes and actually looked up some on whales when I finished reading. This book. They are fascinating creatures.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting an awesome paranormal story or anyone looking for a hot romance. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I would like to thank Kendall Grey for the chance to review this book. I loved it. Plus all proceeds from this series goes toward whale educational programs. That is awesome.

4 out of 5 bats.

Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout

There is need. And then there is Fate...

Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.

When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

I am now left wanting more!  I am sorry but November just seems too long to wait for the third book! Until then I am left feeling similar to a withdrawal! Interesting metaphor to use, but it does feel like that! 5/5 bats

Half-Blood By Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures. Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden. Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck. ~Goodreads Blurb

Review:

This book delivered a great story plot and one that I see as unique because not many use Sleepy Hollow as a basis for their stories, or at least no others that I have read. The end of this book will leave you dumbfounded and wanting to get your hands on the second one as quickly as possible to find out what happens to Abigail, at least that is what happened in my case. 4/5 Bats

Review:

I don’t know what else there is to say, this book is packed with hot steamy scenes that will make you melt and scenes that will make you laugh! This book also delivers when it comes to the suspense and action; it did not disappoint and was happy to find out that this book is part of series- the Demonica Series.

I have to say that I highly recommend this book especially to those who love series such as Black Dagger Brotherhood, this series will intrigue you just as much!
