I honestly don’t know where to start with this review.  Except to say I fell in love with this book and can’t stop thinking about it.

Isis is a seventeen-year-old girl who is having trouble sleeping and having terrifying nightmares that have her staying up all night. But one night she decides to confront the beast in her dream and what happens next shocks her down to her core. He turns into a man and tells her she is not supposed to be here. No humans are allowed.  Isis tells him that this is her dream and he is not real. David than tells her that he is indeed real. Isis tells him to prove it. A dare David accepts.

I fell in love with David right from the start. He is so sweet, smart, loving; protective, and the poems he writes left me swooning and giddy just like a teenage girl. Isis is everything I love about a heroin. She is smart, strong, and so stubborn. I could see a lot of myself in her, which made is very easy to connect with her. Their love story is sweet and paced just right.

The cliffhanger we are left with at the end of the book had me screaming. I couldn’t believe Nely left the book that way. I really need book two now just like a lot of other readers. So please Nely hurry up and take us out of our misery.

Creatura is a magical book that will leave you breathless and thinking about it days after you are done. Nely writes deities with a new spin and a romance that is swoon worthy. It will leave you falling in love with David and wanting him all to yourself. This has become one of my best reads of 2012 and I hope you will run out and buy it for yourself so you can see for yourself just how amazing Creatura is.
