The Pineville Heist - Review

The Pineville Heist by Lee Chambers
Blurb
Seventeen year old Aaron stumbles into the aftermath of a five million dollar bank heist gone wrong. Hiding under a canoe, Aaron partially catches the murder of one of the robbers. In the chaos he sneaks away with the money and heads straight for the closest place of safety, his high school. Terrified, Aaron tells his shocking tale to Amanda Becker, his drama teacher, but it doesn't take long for one of the psychotic robbers to show up. In the locked down school the pair are relentlessly pursued in a quest to get the money back and wipe out the evidence.

My Review
Aaron hates his dad and has a crush on his teacher. He just wants his crush to notice him and get his dads attention. He manages to do that when he stumbles across a stolen loot from a bank of 5 million dollars. He also sees a murder and when he tells his teacher no one seems to believe him. Now he has to hide from the killing robber and get the law and his teacher to believe him. Hiding in his school he has to solve this mystery and stay alive.

This is a very fast paced book that wraps you up into the story. You have to see what happens next. Aaron is a great character that you like from the beginning. I kept thinking I had the mystery solved but in the end I was proved wrong. Don't think you have it all figured out because you won't. I like that in a book that you think it is going one way and it goes a totally different way.You get plenty of action as Aaron fights for his life. I won't give any spoilers but if you want a good YA mystery this may be for you.
