My Review
Sera has a pretty normal life till her 16th birthday. Then it starts to get really weird. She sees people and stuff that just don't seem right. When her dad just really can't deal with her anymore he sends her to live with her aunt. Things really get weird right when she arrives there. She is being followed by strange people and then she soon learns the truth. She has powers just like the most of the people at her new school. Her power she can Wander into the past. With the help of her team and teachers she must learn to use this power.
First off the cover is stunning and will pull you right in. The characters you meet all play an important part in this story. You really get to know Sera and her team as you read this book. The only thing I see bad about Sera is she is a little headstrong at times and doesn't think. Then you have to remember she is a 16 year old away from home just learning she has a power. I can see a teenager being this way. Then we have Bishop one of her stalker peeps but actually has a good reason to. He is a super hot guy and you can see lots of sparks between them. Sam is part of her team and I love this girl. She has such a tough exterior it takes a while to see what she is really like. There is so many more characters but it would take forever to talk about them all. One character I did hate right off is Sera's dad's girlfriend. She needs a good smack to wake her up and know the world doesn't spin around her.
The book moves at a good pace you really get a good background on what is going on and as it goes along you get a great feel for the school and all the kids powers and what they mean. It is written very well. The writing style of Michelle Warren is awesome. She really does pull you in and get you hooked. The book has lots going on with the wandering, learning the school and teachers and trying to find out who is good and bad. You keep guessing as to who is out to help Sera and who is out to get her. Sera does have to make some heart wrenching decisions that leave you aching for her. I won't give spoilers but this is a must read. If you love YA books with a magical twist try this. It will leave you wanting more as you have to know what happens next.
